* This was Norah’s first show.
* This show took place on a Thursday, which was open-mic night at this venue.
* Norah learned Billie Holiday’s “I’ll Be Seeing You” from Etta James’ version.
* Of note is the fact that Erykah Badu worked at Grinders as late as November 1995, so it is entirely possible that she and Norah may have both been present that evening.
* Grinders was located at 2100 Greenville Ave but closed a while back.  This location is now home to the Side Bar & Grill, a sports bar.
